Switchable smart film from HeCaTe Smart allows you to transform existing glass windows, partitions, acrylic screens, plexiglass or other transparent surfaces for instant switchable privacy and security.

Our switchable film is manufactured with a self-adhesive static cling layer, ready to apply to a window (a clean and carefully prepared one).

Switchable smart film is operated by a simple electrical switch to control the opacity of the switchable film, turning it from clear to translucent. It can easily be integrated into home automation systems too, giving you even more control.

When opaque (in its unpowered, frosted state) switchable film also acts as a high quality projection screen. Rear projection gives you the highest quality image, whilst front projection effects can be enhanced with an additional reflective coating.

Switchable film also provides thermal, solar and sound insulation benefits, helping to keep rooms cool, comfortable and quiet.

#1 – Adapting the product to the customer
At this stage we will get to know the area where you would like to perform the operation, we will perform a digital measurement and with the help of the data you will hand over to us, we will calculate and summarize the work and price. This action is considered convenient, personal and adapted to the needs of the customer who will pay the least and get the most…. **This process takes between 1 and 3 hours and you receive a PDF folder with an organized proposal, an illustration and a requested price

After initial approval of our proposal by the client, we will go over the last details and all sections again. We don’t believe in small print and close all the preliminary details ahead of time. After a second confirmation, a date suitable for the customer’s home is set.

The most exciting stage. We come to install the product at the customer’s home. We will say hello, get to know our work area and thus estimate how much time we will need. Installation usually takes no more than three hours. We work in an orderly dresser according to orderly operations for the best quality of the product.

Use a soft, damp microfiber cloth or sponge with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cloths or paper towels that could scratch the film. Gently wash the window tint surface using a light, circular motion. Never rub aggressively on the tint.
#5 – Care and Maintenance
Always power the film off when cleaning and do not power on until 100% dry. Be careful not to disturb any electrical connections. The best cleaner is a simple solution of water and a small amount of streak free detergent soap . Clean the window and then squeegee dry with overlapping strokes. You may also clean the film surface with any normal strength glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a lint free yellow micro fiber cloth. poly vinyl surface is durable however if you could avoid harsh paper towels it would prevent light scratches and hazing over time. Products with ammonia will not damage the film if used in reasonable quantities. Do not use any abrasive cleaners, industrial strength glass cleaners and/or any other window cleaning tools that may scratch the window film.Remember, the surface of the film is scratch resistant not scratch proof.
